MICROBLADING

What is Micro-blading?

Micro-blading is a semi permanent technique using color pigment drawn into the skin with a hand tool that gives you natural looking eyebrows, eyeliner, and lipliner. The technique used on the brows is a natural feather like hair strokes creating a beautiful designed brow. It’s like imitating your hair strokes into fine lines and filling the gaps thus defining a 3D look with a fuller and thicker finish.  Micro-blading treatment is safer than eyebrow tattoos it lasts only 1-2 years

depending on the skin retention to colored pigment..  They do not turn orange or pink because our pigments do not contain iron oxides in them.  The process will take around 1 1/2- 2hrs.

What is Cosmetic Permanent?

Permanent makeup also known as cosmetic permanent is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids.

What is Shading?  Stippling is a semi Permanent technique using color pigment tapped into the skin with a hand tool that gives you a natural fill-in look to your brows, eyeliner, and lipliner

Is this process painful?  Pain is relative. We use the most effective topical anesthesia’s available to numb the areas.

There are several things to consider prior to your procedure like: no caffeine, no alcohol, using blood thinners, no pain medicine, and being on your menstrual cycle 24 hours before your appointment because all of these make you more sensitive.

How will my eyebrows look after the procedure?

Your eyebrows will look beautiful, but it is a possibility that your skin may show little signs of trauma or may be swollen and red.  Nothing that proper aftercare can't take care of.

The area will appear darker at first because of the blood and lymph that has been brought to the surface during the permanent makeup application. The procedure area tissue will scab a bit and this tissue will fall off usually within 5-7 days leaving you with a softer color or no color at all. Then the color will come back when healed.  At your touchup appointment we will fill in any areas that need to be darkened.  Some people heal lighter and some heal darker. Normally, the procedure will be repeated at your touch up appointment. The color may fade between 40-70%.

Are there any contradictions?  Yes, if you are under a physician’s care we want you to obtain a release written on their prescription note pad stating that it is safe for you to have a procedure performed. Your health care provider will know if you will heal without any complications.

Contraindications include but are not limited to: Blood thinners, heart medications, aspirin or products containing aspirin, niacin, vitamin E or IBuprofen , medications for any disease like diabetes, lupus or any autoimmune disease. Also any vitamins or supplements that thin the blood would need to be stopped prior to your procedure but only with the consent of your health care provider.
